Cape Town's multi-disciplinary artist Angel-Ho re-emerged as Ange Madame, representing a maturation of Angel-Ho's trans-feminine identity, using gender and sexuality as tools to craft a unique reality, whether through conforming to, blending, or rejecting societal norms. Her forthcoming self-titled album follows Angel-Ho's three solo albums on Kode9's Hyperdub. Her career also includes collaborations with Gaika, Rabit, Arca, and co-founding the now-discontinued NON Worldwide collective with Chino Amobi and Nkisi, the worldwide resistance movement to represent the African diaspora. Today, Frank's guest is Chris Dorley Brown, who is well known for his work about the London Borough of Hackney with particular emphasis on street culture as well as local hospitals, tower blocks and local industries. He has worked for the BBC, The Museum of London and the Wellcome Institute. Chris has published extensively with Hoxton Mini Press, both his own work and the archives of local photographers.
