Frank Watson examines the relationship between photography and sound. Today, Frank's guest is Chris Dorley Brown, who is well known for his work about the London Borough of Hackney with particular emphasis on street culture as well as local hospitals, tower blocks and local industries. He has worked for the BBC, The Museum of London and the Wellcome Institute. Chris has published extensively with Hoxton Mini Press, both his own work and the archives of local photographers. Blending together the sounds themselves with spoken words from Robin's parents, Bluey from the band Incognito and recently made Radio Academy fellow Karen P, it's a personal, entertaining and insightful audio adventure. Robin is a radio enthusiast who has spent a lot of time listening, and other times involved in student radio and making audio explorations from home in Thanet.
