This week: a spoken word recording made by Sandra Cross in 2014 constructed from notes written up each day by home care workers and left in Sandra’s mother’s home. The notes were written before her mother had a fall, went to hospital and never returned home. Also woven into the text are notes made by Age UK respite workers. Sandra photocopied the notes each week and acted upon the contents when necessary. To find the emotional heart of the matter, the notes had to be combed through and deconstructed.
