From there Tim's work expanded in many directions, with projects such as Pin, Sand, Viewer and Tube Jerk. Tim had a real creative genius and in the studio he was a sound alchemist!

Allison has had a diverse career working in design and as a maker both in the UK and the USA. She worked in television, film and with high end brands including Tiffany and Co and Aspery. An interest in working with people on developing practical skills, which included teaching carpentry to women in New York, came to fruition when she founded the Good Life Centre in Bankside in 2009. We discuss her career, the joy of learning DIY and making skills and why, in our demanding and pressurised lives, many of the services the Centre provides are good for the heart and soul. Modulisme
Modulisme (which translates as Modularism) is a series devoted to out of leftfield modular synthesis. This week: Ilia Belorukov is a musician from Saint Petersburg, Russia, now based in Novi Sad, Serbia. He works in improvised, noise and electroacoustic music and practices an experimental approach to sound extraction using saxophone, modular synthesizers and other instruments.
