Followed at 11.45 by ‘Löngun’ (Icelandic for ‘yearning’), originally a 15 minute dramatic monologue for theatre created and performed in 2012 by Hanna Appleby then recast by Alexander Baker as an impressionistic sound piece, the aim being to create not a completely abstract work, nor simply a monologue with sfx.

A gem from our archive. Today: "Partial Recall." In June and July 1998, the first manifestation of Resonance FM took place on 107.3FM, broadcasting from the Royal Festival Hall. Instigated and curated by Phil England and Ed Baxter for London Musicians' Collective, this Resonance was a month long “art gallery of the airwaves”. "Partial Recall" is aspecially commissioned feature made by Erik Lintunen in which some of the contributors to the inaugural Resonance 1998 RSL broadcasts recall what it felt like and what perhaps it meant.
