She is also founder of the Digital Staad - in 1993, the first virtual community introducing free public access to the internet in Amsterdam. Interviewed by Godelieve van Heteren. Miguel Figueira is an architect responsible for the local technical office in Montemor-o-Velho, Portugal (1997-2001) and until 2014 for urban design in that municipality. He is the founding member of the civic movement SOS Cabedelo, that defends the recognition of the sea and waves in territorial planning and coastal protection policies. Liquid Becomings by Espaco Agora Now is the 2024 European Cultural Foundation's "European Pavilion".
