Miguel Figueira is an architect responsible for the local technical office in Montemor-o-Velho, Portugal (1997-2001) and until 2014 for urban design in that municipality. He is the founding member of the civic movement SOS Cabedelo, that defends the recognition of the sea and waves in territorial planning and coastal protection policies.
