Late Lunch with Out to Lunch

[Repeated from Wednesday 2pm.] Polemic, politics, mouth jazz and spontaneous music with Ben Watson. This week, Ben presents two long tracks recorded at the Betsey Trotwood by the Late Lunch house band, Ammas: "Finest Fibre in the Undergrowth", a pagan hymn to the orgone energy of tree sap, and "The Vast Doodleplex", where Out To Lunch's word jazz takes the music into weird realms where everything is actually as it seams and seethes. Synths by Graham Davis, electric guitar by Dave Black, double bass by François Moreau, pan-African flute and acoustic guitar by Nick Lubran, virtual vibraphone, organ and flute courtesy Out To Lunch's Yamaha keyboard. Final number is a xenochronic composition using piano by OTL and drums by Peter Baxter called "Tickle Your Fancy All Night Long".
