Today: for the inaugural show of the new season, Ben presents Ken Fox, poet and burlesque dancer from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada and Garth Erasmus, improvisor and artist from Cape Town, South Africa. When Fox visited London in August, he read from his Flowers of Rollex Volume III (2023) and danced with Ammas, the Late Lunch houseband, at their Betsey Trotwood Friday lunchtime residency; Garth Erasmus's flute, hosepipe, electronics, ghorrah, mcinci, aeolian flutes and patat are presented in dialogue with Out To Lunch's Korg Monotron Ribbon Synth and Splash 'n' Klang in a xenochronic piece called "Scandal, Crisis, Liberation".
