The Flickerman
Lance Dann's dazzling radio drama series. "The Flickerman" is a thriller series set in a world of information overload and obsessive-compulsive on-line documentation. Its hero, Cornelius Zane-Grey, gradually becomes convinced that his life is being secretly filmed. More sinister still, the images are being posted on the popular photo-sharing site "Flickr," from the randomly accessed contents of which the fast-paced narrative seems to derive. An audibly classic ratiocinative tale of intrigue turned inside-out - one in which the crime apparently results from the victim’s gathering of clues - "The Flickerman" is a racy, humorous, violent and complicated mystery firmly placed within the traditional radio boundaries of cliffhangers, sudden death, red herrings, picaresque journeys and mistaken identity. Next episode same time tomorrow.
