This week: in 2019 Bob and Roberta Smith was invited to make a work reflecting on JMW Turner's presence at Petworth House in the early part of the 19th century. The project fell victim to Covid-19, but not before Bob was able to interview saxophonist George Cleghorn. Now in 2021 Bob is painting the interview inspired by Cleghorn’s assertion that in the reflective elegiac journey there is a connection between JMW Turner and John Coltrane.
