20 years ago in June and July 1998, the first manifestation of Resonance FM took place on 107.3FM, broadcasting from the Royal Festival Hall. Instigated and curated by Phil England and Ed Baxter for London Musicians' Collective, this Resonance was a month long “art gallery of the airwaves”. A radio broadcast as part of A Sonorous Exhibition (Part II), by Ana Carolina Rodrigues. This broadcast centres on a rainforest, located in the coastal region between Panama and Colombia, home to critically endangered species. The work unveils through a walk where two friends try to find higher ground above the trees, to look out over the green canopy. For this work, Ana Carolina talks about the hiatus between humans and flora and fauna. With Maija Fox. First broadcast 18 October 2018.

Radio drama written by Michael Moreland. 'The Night Porters' is set in a hotel in an unspecified part of the UK on a night when young Terry is being inducted into the role of night porter by the older outgoing porter, Don. Don’s belief in the supernatural and Terry’s cynically rational view of the world collide in a darkly comic drama. Contains strong language. Don John Yule plays Don; Anthony Strachan is Terry. In Place 2: Grafted Landscapes. Colin Riley explores the layers of history in our urban and edgeland environments, plundering tracks from city and suburbia alongside his own new songs from ‘In Place’. Colin takes a walk with deep topographer Nick Papadimitriou across the mysterious edgelands of West London and traces the first landscape seen at speed, Liverpool-to-Manchester, with poet Paul Farley.
