From 10:30am until noon we broadcast a tribute to cartoonist, writer, broadcaster, performer Ferris Blood. Ferris was the writer/producer/presenter of the series Dear Puppeteer and the author/editor/publisher of Depressing Comics. This is a “best-of” from the two original series broadcast in 2009/10, this programme is also intended to help promote a charity fund-raiser and tribute gig at the 12 Bar Club on Sunday 14th October. On the night you can see performances from friends and admirers of Ferris including Bib, The Bronsteins, Mathew Sawyer and maverick Welsh performance artist Bedwyr Williams, to name but a few of the constellation of musicians and artists who will be out on the night with Ferris in mind, and raising money for the charities Yes to Life and the Poppy Hulme Trust fund.
