At 10:30pm tonight, three Radio Mantras by Polish-born, New England-based sound artist Derek Piotr. Conceived initially as an abstract radio play, the Radio Mantras are compositions based on the track “Radimantra” from Derek’s second album, Airing. Inspired by late-night experimental radio and by Sublime Frequency’s Radio Java, Piotr set out to create non-narrative extensions of the original material, with vocalists Carahanni and Troy Church.
