In Soundcheck at 8:30pm tonight, Jason Ringenberg from legendary Nashville band Jason and the Scorchers chats to James Hodder about their forthcoming tour in support of their 30th Anniversary. Jason and the Scorchers are noted for their energetic live performances, and have earned strong reviews from critics including Mark Deming, who declared they “blazed a trail for the cowpunk and alt-country movements that followed in their wake.” The show also features music from The O’s, Danny Schmidt and Carrie Elkin.
Soundcheck is followed tonight by a repeat of last Thursday night’s Adventures in Sound and Music which was due to go out at noon today but didn’t due to technical problems. Apologies. Enjoy.
