The Free University of the Airwaves: Sonic Arts continues this afternoon. This second part comprises a collection of presentations made at the London College of Communication’s Sound Arts and Design course, programmed by Resonance104.4fm’s Ed Baxter. At noon, bass player Susan Stenger discusses her own work, followed at 2pm by arranger, tape collagist and all-round maverick Ron Geesin. Then at 4pm a double-hander as Daniel Wilson and Chris Weaver explore the life and work of Daphne Oram.
