The Free University of the Airwaves: Sonic Arts continues this afternoon. The first part comprises a collection of lectures and seminars recorded at the Supersonix Conference held between 20 and 23 of June 2012, part of the Exhibition Road Cultural Group Project. At noon, Michael Bull, Frauke Behrendt, Anke Eckhardt and Holger Schulze speak about sound experience and fiction. At 1.30pm, Dolores Steinmann, Ricardo Castagna, Julian Klein and Joel Ong explore the relationship between sound and body. And at 3pm, Frances Crow, David Prior and Robin McGinley lecture on sound and space. At 4.15pm a performance by Jason Singh is followed by a panel debate continuing the sound and space theme with Mira Calix, Chris Jones, Alexandros Tsolakis, Jacqueline Egglestone and David Sheppard. These recordings were made on the 23rd of June, at the Imperial College, Science Museum and Victoria & Albert Museum.
