The Free University of the Airwaves: Sonic Arts continues this afternoon. The first part comprises a collection of lectures and seminars recorded at the Supersonix Conference held between 20 and 23 of June 2012, part of the Exhibition Road Cultural Group Project. Sam Auinger, Max Dixon and Andreas Oldorp presents urban sound art projects in Bonn, Germany. A History of the mp3 follows at 2pm, presented by Jonathan Sterne; and at 4pm, an exploration of the relationship between Science Technology and Musical Possibility by Alison Rabinovici, Aleks Kolkowski and Antje Pfannkuchen. These recordings were made on the 22nd and 23rd of June, at the Goethe Institute and Science Museum. In between teh lectures, works by Jennifer Walshe, Robert Ashley and Max Eastley.
