FUA day 3: radiophonic art and noise

The Free University of the Airwaves: Sonic Arts continues this afternoon. It’s a collection of lectures and seminars recorded at the Supersonix Conference held between 20 and 23 of June 2012, part of the Exhibition Road Cultural Group Project. Today at noon, Anna Friz, Sean Williams and Melle Jan Kromhout discuss Radiophonic Art and Noise in the current age, followed at 2pm by a talk about Sound and Animals given by sound artist Sarah Angliss, singer Frances Lynch, animal sound expert Karen McComb and ornithologist Geoff Sample. Today’s session ends with a panel discussion about Noise in System featuring John Bruni, Bruce Clarke and Philipp Schweighauser, starting at 4pm. Filling in the gaps, three works by Walter Marchetti: Perpetuum Mobile, Per La Sete Dell’orecchio, and Le Secche Del Delirio.
