This evening’s edition of Atomic Bark! looks at 1930′s, 40′s, 50′s horror shows made for radio. James DC talks to writer Jasper Bark from 7:00pm. This evening’s Clear Spot - 8:00pm – looks at the presence of numbers in the urban environment. Harold Schellinx spent an hour walking around Paris… crossing the Seine, he passed along Notre Dame into the Latin Quarter, back across the river, and on to the Centre Pompidou. From there he circled Les Halles, to find himself, one hour and 1298 numbers later, facing the Parisian City Hall. Adventures in Sound and Music this evening focuses on Bo’ Weavil Recordings. Based in London, Bo’ Weavil has been instrumental in expanding the horizons of folk, improv, free jazz and underground music over the last decade. Bo’ Weavil’s Mark Morris talks to Derek Walmsley about the label’s remit and, naturally, plays some great records from 9:00pm.
