From midnight Art Terry Hosts Is Black Music. This week Art plays the The Burnt Sugar Arkestra Chamber’s new opus All Ya All Needs That Negrocity. Burnt Sugar is an experimental/improv funk collective featuring musicians such as Jared Nickerson, Vijay Iyer, Moist Paula, Bruce Mack, and Butch Morris. Art talks to Burnt Sugar founder, the legendary writer/musician, Greg Tate. Tate, also co-founder of the Black Rock Coalition, has been described as one of “the Godfathers of hip-hop journalism”….
