Clays Lane Housing Co-operative was a fully mutual co-op established between 1977 and 1982. The Clay’s Lane estate was demolished to make way for the 2012 London Olympics and 450 residents were displaced. Lucia Farinati talks to Adelita Husni-Bey about her project ‘Clays Lane Live Archive’ and presents a series of contributions by ex-residents of the Co-op, recalling their experiences before and after the eviction.
