Clays Lane Housing Co-operative was a fully mutual co-op established between 1977 and 1982. The Clay’s Lane estate was demolished to make way for the 2012 London Olympics and 450 residents were displaced. Against the Olympic Myth presents an audio walk around the Olympic site recorded in July 2007 with Katy Andrews of the Lammas Lands Defence Committee; Ann Woollett of Hackney Marshes Users’ Group; and former resident Julian Cheyne.
