This evening’s edition of The Bike Show - 6:30pm – is a tribute to Albert Winstanley. Winstanley was a writer and broadcaster from Bolton Lancashire who died earlier this year at the age of 95. Winstanley’s accounts of cycle touring in Cumbria remain a benchmark in the niche genre of bicycling literature. Ste Curran and pals deliver the latest videogames news, gossip, and sharp as a tack features in One Life Left at 7:00pm, then Alex Fitch hosts this evening’s Clear Spot from 8:00pm. Alex looks at ‘tweenage’ fiction. Philip Reeve discusses his award winning Mortal Engines series, steam-punk, and his new novel Goblins!, and Jodi Picoult talks about her first Young Adult novel Between the Lines.
