Hi folks at Resonance FM. I enjoyed listening to your coverage of the Velonotte from about midnight to 2AM your time. Nicely done interviews mixed with sometimes goofy music. I’d have liked to have heard some phone-ins from the cyclists or tweets relayed on the air, but I’m sure that would have been very complicated to arrange. I was one of the listeners at home in Orlando, Florida USA, vicariously tuning in on the bike event and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Good job,ya’ll. Regards, Ms Pat Flannagan
Hello, as one of the cyclists on Saturday night/Sunday morning, I just wanted to say how great the broadcast was (when we could hear it – reception was very fuzzy sometimes). The chat and the music in particular got me through some of the rainier moments! (Particular credit for ‘I can’t stand the rain’ right at the beginning…)
I really like Pat’s idea above about phone-ins/tweets, especially as there was a lot of hanging around at various points that would have given people the opportunity to call in.
Anyway, nice work to everyone who organised it – it was a wonderful night, even with the rain!
