Arts Council England has expressed its intention to continue funding Resonance FM for three years, with an 2.7% increase in its grant in 2008/9. This grant, of £88,500, effectively sets our new fund-raising target for this year, under broadcasting regulator Ofcom’s ‘fifty per cent’ rule: that is, the station now needs to raise at least an additional £88,500 to meet its legal and other commitments. More news soon, but meantime our thanks to Rachel Baker and the team at Visual Arts for their on-going and much valued support.
Good news for Resonance FM in 2008

For that the arts council sponsor 4732 hours of live programming in a year. Not bad value eh?
