Sight Unseen
Leading conceptual artist/photographer Hiroshi Sugimoto is the focus of Sight Unseen this Sunday.
Sugimoto started using a camera at the age of 12 and realized that photography is an extraordinary way of documenting and re-creating history/manipulating perceptions of reality. He discusses large format cameras, architectural photography, white noise, long exposure and over-exposure, aspects of the spiritual and notions of time and timelessness, amongst other things.
Produced and presented by Tania Ketenjian.
Sight Unseen, Thursday Sunday November 25th 1100 – 1130pm and repeated Thursday December 6th 2007, 0600 – 0630pm.
