Only found out last night that Ban has gone......Ban was the most original and inspiring person I have ever met. We were in a band in our teens and played few gigs but ban with a tin bath tub a drill bemused the audience. I've spent many a night in the past blatherin' 'bout all that matters with Ban at his Mum and Dads in "Burma" and most recently consumed masses of tea at his flat in Southbourne and always enjoyed his company, a proper individal with a massive caring heart can't express how much I will miss him or the knowledge that he's creating toons or artwork to confuse the ignorant......

Thanks for your comments re. Simon. I know his family were really pleased to hear that you were paying tribute to him. James De'Carteret and Spencer Wakeling are going to work together to put some music together in Simon's memory. He was already working on some stuff for your show with Spencer. I've been a friend of Simon's since about 1987 or thereabouts. We are all devastated. Kind regards
