Yes, The Hello Goodbye Show returns this Saturday after a month’s sojourn with three live sessions from the likes of Electricity In Our Homes, Benjamin Thomas and Trent Miller & the Skeleton Jive.
Electricity In Our Homes: as energy gets more expensive here’s a band that’s far from cheap. A no-wave, Cubist, mish-mash of sharp angles and obtuse perspectives wrapped-up in a rectilinear blizzard of post punkisms. Singer-songwriter Benjamin Thomas is a purveyor of melancholic country-blues whilst Trent Miller treads the fine line between vaudeville Man In Black posturing and malignant, post-Gram Parsons, post-Gene Clark country-rock.
On September 27th Dexter Bentley launches a new club night at one of the finer venues in London Bridge, The Miller. PUB POP is the brand name and Seattle is very far away, The Miller is nearer. Keep your eyes peeled for further information or failing that tune in to The Hello Goodbye Show every Saturday between 12:00 and 1:30pm.
