Resonance FM would like to extend its condolences to the friends and family of Ken Campbell who died yesterday. Ken presented two series of wonderfully odd and effervescent monologues for Resonance FM, Pigspurt and The Furtive Nudist - both adaptations of well known solo performance pieces/books. Alongside Christopher Fairbank, Ken also engaged in a marathon, late night, live performance of Robert Anton Wilson’s and Robert Shea’s “Illuminatus! Trilogy”.

It was an honour to have someone as esteemed as Ken Campbell producing content for Resonance FM and it was a great pleasure to work with Ken on these productions. Ken was a very warm, charming and personable man and a great raconteur.

Ken Campbell, writer, director and actor, born December 10 1941; died August 31 2008.

At 9:30pm this evening (Monday September 1st 2008) Resonance FM broadcasts an episode of Ken’s second series for Resonance FM, The Furtive Nudist, an adaptation of the book and theatre piece The Recollections Of A Furtive Nudist.
