In the name of god, what has become of the LMC?
I was confronted by pornography at the festival, when I had hoped to enjoy music. If I want to view porn I will put on my dirty coat & go to see a peepshow, but I do not want to view pornography under any circumstances. That is my personal and political choice.
Christian Marclay’s video on the last night of the festival was inexcusable pornography, masquerading as, I assume, ‘art’.
The LMC traditionally - or at least, in the past - has opposed the exploitation of women, opposed fascism, & the use of exploitative stereotyping, or, as I say: it used to. Pornography & body sterotype shit & the exploitation of women, or anybody are products of the capitalist shitstem, and the LMC has shown it’s self to be complicit in the rot, which is destroying the world (no doubt while the likes of Mr Marclay fiddle with themselves).
