Philip Winter is a regular contributor to Electric Sheep magazine and Resonance FM’s film programme I’m Ready For My Close Up. Philip Winter’s Lucky Dip is a night of projections; an oblique hotch-potch of formal experimentation, amateur tripe, non sequiturs and banalities plucked at random. On May 14th Philip Winter’s Lucky Dip makes a splash at The Miller of Mansfield, located appropriately enough for a man called Winter, on Snowfields Street, SE1.
Featuring 16mm post-structuralist film from Oliver Metzger, Standard 8 footage from William English, Mindless Gesture Suet on video from Petherton Toad, Kronhausen’s Psychomontage no.1. by Anthony Balch & Eberhardt and Phyllis Kronhausen, a mystery item from the Philip Winter archive plus harmless noises from The Tight Pudding Rustic Sound System.
Doors open 8pm. Entry = gratis (FREE).
