It is May the 1st and on this very same day six years ago London’s airwaves started to frolic in peculiar ways. All manner of harmless noises and less identifiable sounds began to disturb the aether, at first many keen eared listeners assumed their aerial had taken a turn for the worse and then they realised that it wasn’t a commercial radio station malfunctioning but a grand experiment in the art of listening. Yes, on the 1st of May 2002 Resonance 104.4 FM made its debut transmission, so happy birthday to us and sincere thanks to the thousands of contributors, listeners and well wishers that have supported us donating invaluable ideas, skills, time, money and moral support in sometimes adverse circumstances.
