Resonance FM and Electric Sheep Magazine’s monthly film club Hectic Peelers hosts a special ‘bad girls in cinema’ night to coincide with International Women’s Day and the Bird’s Eye View Festival. The main film being screened is “Irezumi” (1966), Yasuzo Masumura’s controversial vision of a dangerously seductive, strong-minded geisha with a spider tattoo on her back (courtesy of Yume Pictures). Kanchi Wichmann from Ladyfest London is our guest; she’ll be joining Virginie Selavy to discuss the film after the screening.
Don’t miss this opportunity to see this stunning and rarely shown film on a big screen! Film at 7:30pm, admission is free.
Tuesday 11th March, Roxy Bar and Screeen, 128 Borough High Street, London
