Today on Resonance FM at 4.30pm in a “Micro Clear Spot” Alex Fitch will be talking to writer Paul Cornell about dramatising Iain M Banks’ novella “The State of the Art” for theĀ with a cast including such luminaries as Anthony Sher and Patterson Joseph… Cornell was nominated for a Hugo award for an episode of Doctor Who and is also an accomplished novelist.
Then on Thursday at 5pm in “Strip!”, Alex and Paul will be talking about the writer’s comic book work, from his recent and continuing run on “Captain Britain” to his mini series “Wisdom” and “Fantastic Four: True Story” in which Stan Lee and Jack Kirby’s eponymous quartet meet characters from literature such as Pride and Prejudice and Ivanhoe.
The Micro Clear Spot is repeated on Friday at 7.30pm and Strip! is repeated Sunday at 11.30pm.
